ΤΑΡΑΣ Youthful oikist, nude and with short hair, riding dolphin to right, holding octopus in his right hand and extending his left; around, cable border. Rev. ΤΑΡΑ Bridled hippocamp to right; below, cockle shell; around, rayed border. Fischer-Bossert 46h (this coin, V20/R36). HN Italy 827. Vlasto 119. SNG ANS 834 (same dies). Attractively toned. Struck from slightly worn dies and with minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, very fine.
